east coast love
out here in bc i've been repping the east coast by playing greg macpherson's company store around the campfire. it makes me nostalgic, and it makes me want to share the video here. it's been hard to explain to non cape bretoners just how much this song means to us, and how it's a theme that's woven into the fabric of our very beings. even without a tradition of mining in my family, it's so much a part of where we live that it resonates in a special way. greg's playing in cb (of course) while i am away this fall.
